I'm Ava Morrison, a second-year Journalism student at Mount Royal University. From a very young age, I've been fascinated by news reporting and photojournalism. I have always had a passion for writing, more specifically, informing and engaging an audience. My experience includes digital storytelling, video editing, photojournalism, and news reporting. I've learned to craft meaningful stories using Adobe Creative Suite to produce impactful stories under tight deadlines. Outside of my studies, I've built strong leadership and organizational skills through coaching gymnastics for the past four years, fostering confidence and growth in young athletes. This experience has strengthened my skills in communication and time management, qualities that are useful for my journalistic work as well. I'm dedicated to producing accurate and informative stories that leave a long-lasting impact.
